Meizhou Thousand Buddha Pagoda is located in Meixian District, Meizhou City, Guangdong Province, and is one of the famous ancient buildings in China. Built during the Southern Song Dynasty, the pagoda has a history of more than 800 years after several reconstructions and repairs in the Ming and Qing dynasties. The tower is more than 40 meters high and is a typical wooden pavilion-style brick tower. The pagoda is divided into nine floors, each with narrow windows and exquisite carvings, and a statue of Vajra Bodhisattva on the top of the tower.
The interior of the Thousand Buddha Pagoda has been repaired many times and a large number of precious cultural relics have been preserved. The most famous of these is the Ming Dynasty's "Five Views", which is a rare cultural relic treasure with bright colors and fine depictions.
